The Black Iron Thumb Latch 3618 features a Fleur-de-Lys design, this is inspired by the lily flower and creates a highly decorative look. This product is ideal for both doors and gates, it is also supplied with a pin and chain for locking.

This style of latch is commonly referred to as a Suffolk Latch because it features a handle rather than a back plate.

All Kirkpatrick malleable iron products are manufactured in the heart of the UK, in their fully functioning Walsall based foundry. Malleable iron is used in every Kirkpatrick products to ensure strength and durability. A coat of black paint and then an additional coat of black powder to ensure all our products will remain highly decorative for many years to come.

Please note our Pewter products are created using the same method as the traditional black finish, however Argent is created using a clear lacquer to retain the natural colour of the iron.
