All our BROLITE real Bakelite pieces are based on original designs from early to mid-20th century and unusually, all our door knobs & handles are interchangeable on all of our BROLITE Bakelite back-plates. A luxury which gives a huge number of combinations to choose from. If you are unable to see the combination you are after, you can order the parts individually to make up your desired set.

A pair of vintage-style real Bakelite door knobs complete with round backplates. This "Ogee" design round knob was an extremely popular design in the early to mid-20th century and suits the backplate very well. If required, you can select the components separately to give you a lever handle on the outside of the room and a knob on the inside.

Supplied complete with a 5/16" spindle so it should fit some old locks as well as new ones. Grub screws, spindle washers and wood screws are also supplied.

The back plates are No 6065 and Knobs are No 6117.

Please note: these handles/knobs are unsprung - just like the originals - and so require some help to return them to a horizontal position. You will therefore need to ensure that the latch or lock used has sufficient spring capacity.
